Charity Checkstop in Red Deer Saturday

The Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre, in partnership with Coats for Kids, Victory Church, and The City of Red Deer, are hosting their annual Charity Checkstop this weekend.

Volunteers will be collecting gently used winter items for adults and kids, as well as cash donations for crime prevention initiatives in Red Deer and central Alberta. (All donations stay local)

The Charity Checkstop will be happening from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Taylor Drive, North of 32 Street and South of 43 Street. The lanes closest to the median in both directions will be designated charity lanes.
