EDMONTON, AB — The Alberta government has increased oil production limits for November and December.
According to a release issued Thursday afternoon, the province will be increasing the production limits by 10,000 barrels per day. In November, the production limit will be 3.80 million barrels per day, while December will have a limit of 3.81 million barrels.
October’s production limit is 3.79 million barrels per day.
Last month, the province updated its curtailment policy, exempting the first 20,000 barrels per day a company produces from production limits, up from 10,000 under the previous policy.
