Three charged in largest fentanyl bust in Red Deer history
Red Deer RCMP say they have made the largest fentanyl bust in the city’s history.
Three people face a total of 22 criminal charges after search warrants were executed at three Red Deer properties between August 13 and 28, Mounties say.
On Monday, RCMP announced charges against the trio who are all from BC’s Greater Vancouver area.
“This is an extremely significant drug seizure for our community,” said Superintendent Gerald Grobmeier. “Through this investigation, we have disrupted the flow of dangerous and illicit drugs in our community. And let this serve as a reminder to traffickers in our community — that we will continue to work tirelessly to root out this illegal activity.”
