Sherwood Park bomber acted alone

SHERWOOD PARK- The RCMP believe an explosive called Tannerite was used in a blast at a community centre parking garage last November.

The Mounties also confirmed what they previously suspected that 21-year-old Kane Kosolowsky acted alone and was not involved with a terrorist group.

Supt. Dave Kalist says tests were done on traces of nitrate salts and aluminum powder found on debris in the Sherwood Park parkade.

The samples were so degraded by fire suppression efforts that a direct identification of the substance could not be made.
