Woman charged in fatal collision at Sunchild First Nation going to trial
A woman charged in a crash at the Sunchild First Nation that claimed the life of a man riding his bike is going to trial.
Candace Chipaway, 32, is charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing the death of 33-year-old Andrew Frencheater. Chipaway is also charged under the Traffic Safety Act.
Chipaway is scheduled for trial in Rocky Mountain House Provincial Court on May 11, 2020.
On July 29, at 6:32 a.m., the Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a complaint of a man in the ditch on Sunchild Road.
