Stettler RCMP report multiple stolen vehicle arrests

Several arrests have been made in relation to multiple stolen vehicle and flight from police incidents throughout east central Alberta over the past week.

On Aug. 29, Stettler RCMP say members attempted to stop a vehicle, but it fled.

On Aug. 31, Mounties attended the suspect’s residence and arrested 37-year-old Danial Grams of Byemoor.

Also arrested was 18-year-old MacKenzie Hardy of Red Deer who police say had several arrest warrants from numerous Detachment areas.

Both were remanded into custody.

On Sept. 4, Stettler RCMP and Blackfalds Integrated Traffic Unit members responded to a male sleeping in a vehicle near downtown Stettler.

James Hall, 40, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. Mounties say their investigation revealed the vehicle had been stolen two days earlier.

On Sept. 5, Stettler RCMP, Coronation RCMP, Blackfalds ITU and Police Dog Service (PDS) members attended a location near Halkirk regarding a stolen vehicle that had been involved in an MVC.

Members on scene arrested 31-year-old Jayson Marshall of Stettler and a female youth from Lacombe. PDS located a third suspect, 48-year-old Ernest Bedore who was also arrested.

Marshall and Bedore have been remanded on warrants for their arrest.

Police say the investigation into the MVC continues.
