‘Forgotten Seniors’ Support Drive this weekend

The second annual ‘Forgotten Seniors’ Support Drive is happening in Red Deer this weekend.

Everyone is invited to the Port-o-Call Safeway this Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to enjoy “Alberta’s BEST beef-on-a-bun.”

All proceeds from the event will help the Red Deer Samaritans buy personal and special items for some of our forgotten seniors.

Did you know that the most basic supplies needed for day to day living are not supplied to many of our seniors.

In fact, in our community we have seniors without family support who cannot even afford toothpaste?

LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Red Deer Samaritans will be purchasing and delivering huge amounts of supplies to various seniors facilities in our community during Christmas.
