Calgary’s Heffernan wins PGA of Alberta Championship

Wes Heffernan of Calgary took the title at the PGA of Alberta Championship held Monday and Tuesday at River Bend.

The pro from the Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre turned in rounds of 63 and 67 for a total score of 130, four better than David McComb of the Blackhawk Golf Club.

Three players tied for third place with total scores of 138.

Phil McCluskey of host River Bend shot rounds of 71 and 71 to finish at 143.
