Red Deer swimmer Leibel earns 4th place finish at Pan Am Games

Swimmer Kyla Leibel of Red Deer earned a top-four finish at the Pan American Games over the weekend.

The 17-year-old from the Calatina Swim Club finished fourth in the Girls 15-17, 50-metre freestyle final Friday in Peru.

Her time of 25.52 seconds left her off the podium by 38-hundredths of a second.
