22 tornadoes in Alberta so far this year

With summer not yet over, Alberta has already seen its busiest tornado season in 20 years.
Our province has had 22 confirmed touchdowns in 2019, according to Environment Canada, including two EF2 and two EF1-ranked tornadoes.
Seven of the touchdowns were recorded during an outbreak on June 28.
Locally, the lone confirmed touchdown occurred 12 kilometres southwest of Sylvan Lake on July 31. It has been classified as an EF0 tornado.
