Volunteers needed for accessible and inclusive playground build in Penhold

Aug 8, 2019 | 9:32 AM

There’s a call-out for volunteers in Penhold this week as work continues on a new accessible and inclusive playground in the community.

Spearheaded by the Penhold Community Leaders Society, Critters Corner is anticipated to be open for ‘critters’ of all ages and abilities by early September.

Critters Corner Inclusive Playground will be located just off Waskasoo Avenue with the Penhold Community Leaders Society also leading fundraising efforts to make the project possible.

Officials with the organization say they are now looking for individuals with a basic tools skill set and knowledge to help with the volunteer build.
