The search is over for two fugitives wanted in the murders of three people last month in northern B.C.

Manitoba RCMP officers located the bodies of two males Wednesdsay morning, believed to Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky, near the shoreline of the Nelson River.

RCMP searched the river near Gillam, Manitoba over the weekend after a damaged aluminum boat was discovered there Friday.

RCMP said yesterday they had found several items linked to the pair. Mounties did not say what the items were, but that they were found on the shore of the Nelson River.
