Red Deer U15 AAA Braves qualify for westerns

The Red Deer U15 AAA Ernco Braves baseball team won silver at provincials in Okotoks over the weekend.

The Red Deer squad went 3-0 in round robin and won the semi-final before falling in the gold medal game to host Okotoks 12-3.

They Braves will now represent Alberta at Westerns in Lloydminster, SK from August 15-18.

Players for the Braves include Ben Mason, Joshua Liu, Kane Hall, Sander Sampson, Kyle Belich, Heath Hachkowski, Grayson Leuck, Tysen Wandler, Justice Portsmouth, Kole Simpsom, Dominic Skjonsberg, Jordan Bauer, and Matthew Murray.

Head coach is Brant Stickel and the team manager is Crystal Mason.
