B.C.trucker killed in rollover near Hanna

HANNA- On July 29, at approximately 8:30 p.m., RCMP, Hanna EMS and Hanna Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 9.

A semi carrying lumber was travelling eastbound on Highway 9 when the driver lost control and his vehicle rolled in the ditch.

The driver and lone occupant, a 53-year-old man from B.C., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Highway 9 was closed for a period of time while crews cleared the scene and recovered the vehicle.
