McDonald’s hosting hiring fair in Blackfalds

McDonald’s is opening soon in Blackfalds and will be hosting a hiring event at the Wadey Visitor Centre (4400 South St.) on August 2nd and 3rd.

McDonald’s is inviting all prospective candidates to stop by the event to find out more about their job opportunities as they look to hire 60 staff to support its opening including kitchen crew, guest experience leaders and swing manager positions.

As part of McDonald’s Canada’s ‘Friends Wanted’ initiative, those who apply at the hiring event are encouraged to do so with a friend by mentioning each other’s names to have their applications linked. Friends have the opportunity to be hired and trained together, boosting McDonald’s reputation as a fun, accessible place to work.

Both the GM and Market People Lead of the new location are available during the event to speak to the restaurant’s hiring needs and their experience opening the first McDonald’s restaurant in Blackfalds.
