Woman dies in crash near Three Hills

THREE HILLS- A woman was killed and three other people were hurt in a crash Sunday morning near Three Hills.

RCMP were dispatched just after 11 a.m. to the two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 582 and Hwy 21.

Police say a vehicle travelling eastbound on Hwy 582 had come to a full stop before proceeding into the intersection. That’s when it collided with a second vehicle travelling southbound.

The 72-year-old woman driving the eastbound vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The occupants in the other were take to hospital, but no injuries were reported.
