Lacombe to repave its busiest roadway
The City of Lacombe is working to extend the life and improve the conditions of its busiest roadway.
Council has authorized administration to utilize surplus funds from the 2019 Capital Works Program to mill and repave 1.2 kilometres of 50 Avenue (Highway 12) between 58 Street and 76 Street.
The repaving comes with an estimated price tag of $467,160 and will be done by Border Paving.
Manager of Engineering Amber Mitchell says the City wanted to capitalize on competitive paving rates this year.
