Thousands line up for Westerner Days pancakes at Bower Place

The 38th annual Bower Place – Westerner Days Pancake Breakfast took place Saturday morning.

This year’s pancake breakfast charity of choice was the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre. As usual, there was a great turnout from the Red Deer community. rdnewsNOW spoke to Bower Place General Manager Sonya Hunt about this year’s edition.

New this year was the Pancake Stacking Media Competition where our very own Sheldon Spackman took on others like Jamie and Alyssa from the BIG Breakfast Show on BIG105.5 and 106.7 The Drive’s Peter Michaels.
