Stettler RCMP searching for pair in stolen vehicle who used stolen credit card

Two people believed to have tried to use a stolen credit card are being sought by Stettler RCMP.

The detachment says it was July 4 when an SUV was stolen from a residence in Stettler, and a credit card inside the vehicle was then used at a local business.

However, the female who tried to pay for something was unncessful and instead paid with cash.

The license place (BYY 9642) associated with the vehicle was reported stolen from Blackfalds.
