Red Deer permit values up year over year in June

Building permit values in Red Deer were down in June, but higher than the year previous.

Estimated value of all permits issued last month was just over $6.9 million, as opposed to $6.0 million in June 2018.

The most significant increases were in commercial and public permit values (see below).

Notable permits for June included improvements to a commercial building at 2610 50 Avenue, and two additions to the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church at 18 Selkirk Boulevard.
