Relay for Life raises $60,000 for cancer research

Cancer survivors and their friends and family once again participated in the local edition of Relay for Life on Saturday.

The event took place at CrossRoads Church.

Full totals haven’t been tallied, but organizers say the event raised at least $60,000. Their goal was $50,000.

There were arround 110 participants and 40 volunteers. One team even achieved a fundraising total of $100,000 over the last five years.
