Murder investigation underway into Edmonton woman’s disappearance

NORTH BATTLEFORD- RCMP in Saskatchewan who have been investigating the disappearance of an Edmonton woman now say foul play is involved, and they’re treating the case as a homicide.

Police had said last month they were concerned about 25-year-old Tiki Brook-Lyn Laverdiere, who was last seen in North Battleford on May 1.

They say they’ve executed search warrants in a number of locations in North Battleford over the last few days and are reviewing what they found.

Police had said Laverdiere was in the North Battleford and Thunderchild First Nation areas to attend a funeral in late April.
