Ellis Bird Farm open late for Summer Solstice

On Saturday, June 22, Ellis Bird Farm will keep its gates open until 8:00 PM.

We normally close at 5:00 p.m. but on this day so close to Summer Solstice, as well as on two other nights later in the summer, we are offering visitors the opportunity to experience the beautiful “golden hour” of evening light on our grounds.

With our far-reaching view to the western horizon and the chorus of birds soaring and diving to catch their supper, this is a unique opportunity indeed.

All our facilities will be open until 8:00 PM: bring a picnic supper and your camera, or make a reservation at the café.
