Kalena Soehn to speak at Special Olympics breakfast
Local trampoline athlete Kalena Soehn will be the guest speaker at 13th annual Special Olympics Celebrity Breakfast on June 19.
Soehn comes from a family of trampoline athletes and has had success in the sport at the national and international level most recently winning gold in the individual event and silver in the team event at the 2019 Canada Winter Games.
The Celebrity Breakfast is held each year to raise funds in support of over 300 individuals in Red Deer who have an intellectual disability. Special Olympics Red Deer offers opportunities for these athletes to train and compete in 13 different sports at the local, provincial, national and international level.

Kalena was part of the Alberta team to 2015 Canada Winter Games 2015 in Prince George, winning the Bronze Medal in Trampoline. At the 2019 Canada Winter Games in her honetown she won Gold in Trampoline and Silver in the Team event.
