RED DEER- Habitat for Humanity Red Deer is hosting their Women’s Build event on May 31.
It is being held at the Vista Triplex in Sylvan Lake from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The triplex is located at 4040 Ryders Ridge Boulevard.
Habitat for Humanity Red Deer will be working alongside 8-10 local female volunteers at the site, including upcoming home owners.
During the day, the task at hand will be priming and painting the triplex.
Habitat for Humanity Red Deer brings communities together to create affordable homeownership opportunities for local families.
Through having a stable foundation in a safe and secure home and thriving community, Habitat families are better able to build strength, stability, and self-reliance.
The Vista Triplex brings to 38 the number of homes built in Habitat’s 25-year history in central Alberta.
