Parking Recreational Vehicles and Trailers Survey
Spring has sprung and recreational vehicles and trailers will soon be on the road, in the back country and around your neighbourhood. Before you bring your RV home to get it ready for warm weather adventures, be sure you are aware of the regulations that guide the placement and parking of these vehicles in your community.
The Land Use Bylaw is one tool that regulates where a recreational vehicle or trailer can be parked on a residential, or non-residential property, and for how long.
The City of Red Deer Planning Department is proposing to reformat these regulations to make it easier for residents to understand and follow the applicable regulations. The change is not to the regulations themselves but rather how the information is presented in the Land Use Bylaw.
