RDC student receives national leadership award
A student from Red Deer College has been recognized on a national level for her leadership qualities.
At the College and Institutes Canada (CICan) Conference in Niagara Falls recently, Robin Chiles was honoured with the award for Leadership Excellence in the Student category, an award given to a student who has made a remarkable contribution within their institution, as well as in their community.
“RDC has enjoyed the opportunity to have Robin Chiles as a talented student, and has benefited from her extraordinary leadership in her many pursuits,” says Shelley Ralston, RDC’s Vice President Corporate, in a press release. “She is enthusiastic, heartfelt and wise beyond her years. Robin gives 110 per cent on everything that she does, whether it is at the Board of Governors meetings, within a practicum, or at a community event.”
