Red Deer County man facing charges in Fort Saskatchewan

FORT SASKATCHEWAN – On May 8, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic/Crime Reduction Unit recovered a stolen vehicle and charged two occupants with various property-related offences.

Shortly after midnight, Mounties located a vehicle reported stolen out of Red Deer.

The occupants were taken into custody without incident.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of merchandise determined to have been stolen from the 7-Eleven minutes prior to the arrest.

A large amount of packaged tools and identification documents, from people residing in various locations within Alberta were also located and believed to have been fraudulently used to obtain credit cards.

Brendyn Beaulieu, 28, of Red Deer County, Alta., is facing numerous charges, some of which include:

· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

· Theft Under $5000

· Possession of Break In Instruments

· Unauthorized Possession of a Credit Card

His co-accused is 20-year-old Rachel Taylor of Bon Accord.

“The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic/Crime Reduction Unit, through the use of intelligence-led enforcement, are committed to public safety and the reduction of crime in our community,” the detachment says.
