19 Street construction to prepare for commercial expansion

RED DEER- Construction began on 19 Street this week to create access to a new commercial plaza in Sunnybrook South.

Drivers can expect delays due to intermittent lane closures on 19 Street between Gaetz (50) Avenue and 40 Avenue.

Lane closures will affect both directions of travel as crews work to add an all-turns commercial access for the Sunnybrook South Commercial Plaza.

Construction is expected to take approximately one month to complete.
