Thunder Country athletes strike gold in Calgary

RED DEER- The Thunder Country Trampoline & Gymnastics Club came home with a number of medals from the Elite Canada Trampoline Championships held in Calgary last weekend.

Nine local athletes took part in the competition that featured athletes from across Canada.

In National Senior Men’s, Keegan Soehn won gold in trampoline.

Soehn and Jeremie Chartier from Quebec captured the gold in Senior Men’s synchronized trampoline.

Kalena Soehn picked up a bronze medal in National Senior Women’s double mini trampoline.

Spencer Kooman won a pair of medals, a gold in trampoline and a silver in double mini trampoline in the National Level 5 Men 17+ age group and in National Level 5 Women 16U, Sophie Nossack took the gold in trampoline.
