Ponoka teacher named A Better World Canada’s Citizen of the Year
LACOMBE- Ponoka teacher Julie Lapointe has been named A Better World Canada’s 2019 Citizen of the Year.
The 27-year-old received the coveted honour for her volunteer efforts that started when she was a teenager in Sylvan Lake.
ABW co-founder Eric Rajah congratulated Lapointe during ABW’s 29th anniversary celebrations in Lacombe.
