Less than a week to go until voting day

Apr 11, 2019 | 9:37 AM

There are just six days remaining until voters take to the polls, save for those flocking to make a vote in advance.

Here’s where party leaders have announced they”ll be on Thursday.

NDP leader Rachel Notley is starting in Calgary with a media scrum at 11:30 inside Coffee Cats Cafe. A livestream is available at facebook.com/rachelnotley/.

Notley is then headed to Nanton for a leader’s event at 2 p.m, and then to Lethbridge for the same at 5 p.m.

Those events will also be livestreamed.

UCP leader Jason Kenney has announced he will also be in Calgary for a 5 p.m. rally alongside federal Conservative leader Andrew Scheer.

That is taking place at the Glenbrook School baseball diamond.

Meanwhile, Stephan Mandel of the Alberta Party is making an education announcement at 11 a.m. from a park in central Edmonton.

Mandel will spend the rest of the day doing media, and then door-knocking in his home riding of Edmonton-McClung.

He’ll then participate in a candidate forum for that constituency at 6:30.

Alberta Liberals leader David Khan is making an environmental policy announcement in Calgary at 2 p.m.

Leader itineraries and updates on announcements will be posted here later, while other election news can be found on our Alberta Election 2019 page.
