Montreal Impact face D.C. United to cap long stretch on road to open season
MONTREAL — The Montreal Impact have been logging some serious air miles to start the Major League Soccer season and some of the players are beginning to feel the effects.
The Impact (2-2-1) cap their season-long, six-game road swing on Tuesday against D.C. United (3-1-1), just three days after 10-man Montreal held New York City FC to a scoreless draw at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.
The Impact jumped on a flight back home from New York before leaving for Washington on Monday.
