Mar 31, 2019 | 10:40 PM

RCMP say a man who went missing on Saturday west of Sundre has been found.

According to Mounties, it was 8:30 a.m. on March 30 when Calgary man Timothy Campbell went hunting with his son and an adult male friend in the Williams Creek area, which is within Clearwater County.

Campbell went off on an animal track, but did not return to the group.

His son and friend returned safe after they could not locate him, and then contacted police.

Now, Mounties say Campbell was located alive around 8 p.m. Monday, and 7.5 km from where he was last seen. He has been transported to hospital in Sundre with non-life-threatening injuries.

Local RCMP members, as well as Sundre and Rocky Mountain House Search & Rescue, RCMP Air Services, RCMP Police Dog Services, and Clearwater Fire Rescue, assisted in the search for Campbell.
