New entrance sign to be installed at Gasoline Alley West

Mar 11, 2019 | 11:55 AM

Red Deer County council has approved a new entranceway sign for the north end of Gasoline Alley West.

At their regular meeting last week, council gave the go-ahead to amend the 2019 budget to reflect the $150,000 cost of the new sign which includes additional costs for the electricity, installation and any contingencies.

The sign will be at the new primary entrance to Gasoline Alley West, just north of the traffic circle at Laura Avenue and Leva Avenue.

County officials note the new north road is long and some drivers question whether they have taken the correct route into Gasoline Alley.
