Possible explosion stuns residents on north end of Rocky Mountain House

Clearwater Regional Fire is investigating the cause of a blaze on the north end of Rocky Mountain House on Friday afternoon.

Deputy Chief Shawn St. Peter says crews responded around 2:10 p.m. to an industrial workplace where a small quonset structure was involved with fire.

“We had crews respond from Rocky Mountain House, Leslieville, and Condor stations,” he says. “At this time, the fire is still under investigation as to the cause and origin of it, but it has been contained.”
