Three-vehicle crash sends one to hospital as precaution

One person was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons after a three vehicle crash in Red Deer on Friday.

An RCMP spokesperson says reports of the collision at 30 Avenue and McLean Street came in at 10:51 a.m.

Emergency crews closed southbound lanes of 30 Ave as a result of the crash and rerouted traffic for nearly three hours.

Mounties are investigating the cause.
