Last year, 164,101 individual campsite reservations were processed, along with 3,251 group camping areas and 3,638 comfort camping areas.

This exceeded the 2017 total of 163,780 campsite reservations.

The Alberta Parks system has more than 14,000 campsites in 250 provincial campgrounds.

The provincial government says there are no increases to camping related fees this year, and revenue from camping fees is invested back into Alberta Parks.
