A man charged in a 2017 homicide in Red Deer will face a preliminary hearing next spring.
Gabriel Agotic, 34, is charged with manslaughter for the July 17, 2017 death of Mathiang Chol.
It was just after 6 a.m. on March 29, 2017 when Red Deer RCMP were dispatched to an apartment to assist with a male suffering from serious injuries after being assaulted. He was eventually flown to a Calgary hospital and placed on life support but died the following day.
An autopsy determined Chol, who was 26, died by homicide.
