Nate Horner has secured the UCP nomination for the constituency of Drumheller-Stettler.
Party leader Jason Kenney issued a statement Saturday night congratulating Horner.
“Nate has a diverse background, with experience in agriculture, oil and gas, and as a small business owner,” he said. “This, combined with a deep desire to create a better Alberta for his two small children, makes Nate an ideal United Conservative candidate and I’m pleased to welcome him to the team.”
Horner’s nomination means Rick Strankman will be out as a UCP MLA when the election rolls around next spring.
