Two more charged with homicide in Paul Band First Nation death
The RCMP have laid charges against two more people in connection with the death of a woman on Paul Band First Nation, north east of Drayton Valley.
On Thursday, Edmonton Police Services responded to a weapons complaint in north east Edmonton. There they arrested two individuals who were previously identified as being suspects in the homicide of 31-year-old Ellie Mae House.
House’s body was found inside a Paul Band First Nation home on August 14 by Stony Plain RCMP. An autopsy confirmed that she had died as the result of a gunshot wound.
Genie Elizabeth Bull, 25, and Lyle Kashten Buck, 23, both of Edmonton, are each charged with second degree murder and were remanded into custody, according to an RCMP news release Saturday. They are due in Stony Plain Provincial Court on Aug. 29.
