48 Avenue to close at 52 Street starting Tuesday

A water main replacement project will cause a portion of 48 Avenue near 52 Street to close for a week starting Tuesday.

48 Avenue will close between 52 Street and 53 Street from Tuesday, August 7 until Monday, August 13 while a pipe installation is completed.

There will be no through traffic for the duration of the closure and traffic will be detoured to 49 Avenue and Gaetz Avenue.

Construction and lane closures may affect Transit Routes 11 and 51, as well as stops along 48 Avenue near 52 Street. Details will be posted on the City website as construction nears and can be viewed at reddeer.ca/transitdisruptions.
