Alberta Sheriff/RCMP release June traffic statistics

The Capital West Alberta Sheriff/RCMP Integrated Traffic Unit has released violation numbers for last month for the areas of Drayton Valley, Thorsby and Breton.

In June 53 speeding tickets were issued, 14 speeding in construction zone tickets were given and one careless driving notices were written up. 13 other tickets were given.

The speeding tickets for the month of June are the lowest they have been in the past three months, with May hitting 88 and April 116.
