Olds area farmer injured during late night break and enter

Mounties in Olds are searching for suspects after a rural property owner was injured in a late night altercation this week.
It was at about 12:30 a.m. Monday when Olds RCMP were called to a farm property near Highway 587 and Township Road 265.
Police say the owner heard noises from his garage and when he went to check them was attacked by a man armed with a bladed weapon. The 36-year-old homeowner suffered cuts in his face and arm as a result.
The property owner then put the suspect into a hold to defend himself, but was kicked from behind by another man causing him to lose hold of the first intruder. Both suspects ran down the driveway with the homeowner chasing after them.
