Canada Day events in and around Drayton Valley

In celebration of Canada’s 151st birthday, Drayton Valley area residents have a multitude of options to get their red and white party on. Here’s a list of some of the must-see events happening in Drayton Valley and surrounding areas. 

Canada Day in Drayton Valley

Drayton Valley is hosting a number of events, with the day kicking off with a pancake breakfast at the Legion from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a parade from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

Following the ending of the parade the festivities switch over to the Rotary Park for activities until 3 p.m., along with a free swim at the Park Valley pool from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Once dusk falls, fireworks will cap off celebrations at West Valley Lions Park. 

Canada Day in Breton

In the Village of Breton Canada Day celebrations kick off at the Community Centre for a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a parade at noon. A wide variety of events will occur during the afternoon, including a show and shine after the parade and a community band. The day will conclude with fireworks at dusk at the RV Park. 

Canada Day in Entwistle

And in Entwistle Canada Day events kick off with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a parade at noon.  From 3 p.m.  to 6 p.m. there will be a BBQ and to wrap everything up there will be fireworks at the United Church.

Canada Day in Seba Beach

In Seba Beach, a community pancake breakfast will be held at Seba’s Senior Centre from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Canada Day in Pigeon Lake

In Pigeon Lake watch the parade led by the Ma-Me-O Legion, Pigeon Lake Firefighters & followed by a children’s bike parade. Kids can participate in a bike decorating contest where they could win a new bike.
