Thunder’s Green traded to the Olds Grizzlys

Drayton Valley Thunder’s defenceman Ethan Green has been traded to the Olds Grizzlys.

The 18-year-old Spruce Grove native was acquired by the Grizzlys in exchange for 19-year-old forward Jeremy Klessens.

Green played in 44 games last year recording 6 goals and notching 17 points. Klessens suited up in 161 games in a Grizzly uniform tallying 31 goals and scoring 73 points since the 2015/16 season.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League will open the 2018-19 regular season on September 14th, when the Thunder face off against the Sherwood Park Crusaders at the Drayton Valley Omniplex.
