LaGrange enters UCP race in Red Deer – North
Adriana LaGrange is looking to move on to provincial politics.
The vice vhair for the Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Board of Trustees announced Tuesday she is seeking the United Conservative Party nomination for the Red Deer – North constituency.
Lagrange was first elected to the board in 2007 and in October was re-elected for her fourth term. She is a past president of the Alberta Catholic School Trustees’ Association and recently turned down the nomination for president of Canadian Catholic School Trustees’ Association in order to seek the UCP nomination.
“I believe my vast array of life experiences, along with my practical knowledge, dedication and strong work ethic will enable me to represent the people of Red Deer – North in a fair, competent and trustworthy manner,” Lagrange says on her website.
