Buccaneers rout Airdrie 48-7 in home opener
This one was over nearly as soon as it began.
The Central Alberta Buccaneers scored early and often as they cruised to a 48-7 victory over the Airdrie Irish in Alberta Football League action Saturday night.
It was the first Bucs game played at the newly upgraded Setters Place at Great Chief Park.
Tanner Olstad returned the game’s opening kickoff 90 yards to the house to give the Buccaneers an instant 7-0 lead.
