Three Red Deer female hockey players invited to Team Alberta camp

Three female hockey players from Red Deer have been invited to try out for the Alberta team that will compete at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in our city.

Forwards Sage Sansregret and Stephanie Keeper, and defenceman Aryn Chambers will be battling for a spot on the U18 squad.

Team Alberta’s U18 Female Summer Development Camp takes place in Camrose from July 10-15. The group of 46 invitees was selected from 88 who took part in a spring event in Spruce Grove.

From the camp in Camrose, a shortlist will be established for another selection camp in the fall.
