Red Deer among newly supported cities for Rooco
A Calgary-based tech company has followed up its initial launch and success in Fort McMurray by expanding to three new cities in Alberta including Red Deer.
Officials with Rooco, a web-based app that allows you to pay your traffic ticket right from your phone in less than 90 seconds, say they’re adding St. Albert, Airdrie and Red Deer to its list of supported cities. Adding, you’re guaranteed to pay less than the fine amount listed on the ticket, saving you money, added frustration and hassles.
“We spent a lot of time strategizing on where to launch the app and eventually Fort McMurray won out based on its unique and diverse cross-section of Canadians,” says Rooco’s Co-Founder and COO Adam Ashton in a press release. “We knew we had a lot of value to offer anyone who received a ticket but the support and interest from not only Fort McMurray but all of Alberta has been awesome.”
”We’re really excited about adding St. Albert, Red Deer and Airdrie to our list of supported cities,” Ashton goes on to say. “Having four young, energetic and innovative cities spread across the province made perfect sense for our next step.”
